Jay Kensinger is a Santa Cruz filmmaker and editor who has been working independently for over 10 years. Some of his edited films have been shown in several local film festivals, including The Santa Cruz, Northern California and Poppy Jasper Film Festivals. He has an Edgar nomination from his first film, and is currently working on a short film that explores grief, called "Deal".
